Presidential Calendar Puts the Oval Office on Nappy Duty

A surreal 2027 calendar reimagines Donald Trump as a badly behaved toddler. Its scenes include toy cars, sandcastles and Joe Biden handling a nappy change. The peaceful transfer of powder has begun.

Joe Biden looks distinctly unimpressed as he changes Donald Trump’s nappy, with fresh nappies and talcum powder standing by for what may be the least dignified transfer of power in American history.

The scene appears in the Kid Trump 2027 Calendar, a surreal spoof that reimagines the US president as a badly behaved toddler and swaps the White House for the playroom.

Trump, 80, has just seen the Democrats sweep to victory over the Republican Party in the US midterm elections. In the calendar, however, his more immediate concerns include toy cars, trucks, a tricycle, sandcastles and being carried about by Vice President JD Vance.

January begins with a pint-sized Trump in Vance’s arms while First Lady Melania Trump straightens his trademark red tie. It is an unusually domestic start to the political year, although possibly not the most demanding bit of childcare in the calendar.

That arrives in March, when former president Biden is shown attending to baby Trump on a changing table. Biden’s expression suggests this was not included in the traditional duties of an outgoing commander-in-chief.

April places miniature Trump back in the Oval Office, where he poses for a selfie. Elsewhere, he tears around in a tiny red plastic car emblazoned with his own name and rides a trike, maintaining the presidential commitment to branded transport.

In May, Trump appears barefoot on a beach, proudly displaying an enormous sandcastle topped with the Stars and Stripes. June has him apparently celebrating his birthday at a children’s restaurant.

By August, he is presiding over what looks like a high-level summit with teddy bears. Another scene depicts him giving the bears a press conference, an audience admirably equipped to sit quietly through the whole thing.

September finds Trump sprawled across the floor playing with toy cars. Other images show him building sandcastles and playing with trucks, with the calendar supplying a different outlandish scene for every month of 2027.

December concludes with the diminutive commander-in-chief decorating a Christmas tree. At its summit sits a giant golden ornament bearing Trump’s own face, ensuring that even the festive star knows when it has been replaced.

The spoof calendar is made by novelty gift firm The Calendar King, which lists Kid Trump alongside a range of other tongue-in-cheek political and celebrity designs.

It is available in A4 and A3 sizes, with listed prices ranging from £14.95 to £29.95. Buyers therefore have a choice between a moderately sized presidential nappy change and one with considerably greater wall presence.
